Cookie blocking on the site: placeholder
The Byscuit script can add "placeholders" to targeted elements by class in the management interface. A placeholder is a message that replaces the blocked functionality. Placeholders require configuration.
For example, if the user refuses the "Advertising" cookie category, YouTube videos will not be able to display, and a generic message will appear in their place. Example:
Pour cela la class (ou id) correspondant à la section à cacher, est indiqué dans la configuration du fichier témoins correspondant, exemple :
On the site, the user can click on the "accept cookies" link to display the functionality. A new consent is then recorded, and only the corresponding category will be added among the accepted ones.
Similarly, a Recaptcha may require functional cookies to be accepted. The site manager can therefore decide that submitting the form requires this anti-spam tool and not allow the user to use the form without accepting this type of cookie. It is recommended to explain this type of exception in the site's terms of use.
